Microphone overview
The Tonor TC-777 USB Microphone is a great microphone if you are looking for a budget option. It has great sound quality and only goes for around 39.99 on Amazon. You can purchase it directly from here. To be honest I did not expect the sound quality to be as good as it is. You can barley hear the difference between this microphones sound quality, and other, more expensive microphones.
The packaging of the microphone is very nice and compact, and has a cool design. In the box you get the small microphone pop filter, the sock/covering that you put on the microphone and the microphone itself, which comes along with a small stand and a USB chord that you simply plug into your PC or PS4 to use. The chord itself is already attached to the microphone. However, it is pretty long so that you can even put it on the other side of your desk if you wish.
A huge plus is that for the microphone, you do not need anything complex and it is very simple to work.
The design of the microphone is also pretty nice, it’s got sort of a square build to it. The small pop filter is also nice because it does not take up any space sense it fits over the microphone perfectly. A lot of the time pop filters are huge and annoying to deal with, but with this microphone the problem does not exist.
More Microphone features
The microphone and the stand are small too, which is also a good thing. Speaking about the stand, the stand can be used in two ways. You can use it as it is (three legs) or you can attach a boom stand to it. The specific adapter you need, however, is linked here. The stand itself is pretty nice too, sense you can flip around the pop filter to the other side if you wish. This could save space sense the stand sticks out from the back of the microphone.
A great feature of the microphone is that it is compatible with PC, PS4, and Mac. While I do not see myself using the microphone with my PS4 it is nice to have that option just in case I need a backup mic.
The pick up htz for the mic: 100 htz – 60 kilo htz. The microphone is also in cardioid mode, meaning that it can pick up sound from everywhere around but not from the top or bottom. A good thing that we noticed while using the
microphone is that it does not pick up the keyboard sounds when someone is typing. This is good because people can get annoyed if you constantly type and they have to hear every click. However, if you are typing loud enough or
if the person you are talking to concentrates hard enough on the sound of the clicks, then they will be able to hear it.

In conclusion
Overall, the price you are paying for the sound quality is very nice. And it is not the only thing you are getting when you make the purchase. You get the pop filter and chord as well. I would consider this a bargain. The downside is that this microphone does not have a gain or mute button. The absence of the gain knob, however, is only a slight inconvenience sense you can technically set it up on your computer. The absence of the mute button is a bigger issue sense you might have to start using push to talk (on discord for example) if you do not want people who are talking to you to hear everything everyone in your room is saying.
