Fifine K658 Podcast Microphone review.

The new Fifine K658 Microphone has been an absolute joy to use! In this review we are going to be talking all about the Fifine K658 Microphone features as well as giving our thoughts if this product is worth the purchase (around 120 USD).

Introduction

Hello, and welcome back to another Twins reviews, review! It has been a while since we have posted, but this is because for the past couple months we have been busy filming a Star Wars short film that we just recently released! It was made for a Cinematic Captures competition, and we are very excited to see how we did. If you have not seen this fan film, please give it a watch below (it’s only 3 minutes long).

Fifine K658 Microphone

Now that we have all the excuses out of the way, let’s jump into the microphone review! We first would like to thank Fifine for sending us this product, before its actual release date. Because of this, we were able to use the microphone for a couple of weeks and get a real good feel for it. The first thing we would like to mention is that the
Fifine K658 microphone has a great build to it.

Every time Fifine comes out with a new microphone they blow us away with the quality of their products. The microphone has a solid metal build to it and is not flimsy. The microphone has two buttons on it. One in the front and one in the back. The button in the front functions as a mute button. It is touch sensitive so when you touch it, so people in your discord or zoom call will not be able to tell that you have muted yourself. The button on the back functions as a on/off switch for the LED lights on the stand of the microphone.

The Fifine K658 Microphone

The Stand of the microphone itself is made well, but not ideal to use as it is rather large. We know that this Mic is meant to be used with a boom arm, since it is more of a podcast microphone and we are going to be investing in this in the future. But if you decide to use the mic without a boom arm, just know that it is going to take up a significant amount of space on your desk. Another thing that is important to mention is that the microphone pics up sound from THE TOP of the mic, not the side. This is once again, because it is meant to be used in a horizontal fashion, not a vertical one, however, you can sort of use the stand to lean it towards you.

Sound quality of the Fifine K658 Microphone

The sound quality of the K658 microphone is absolutely amazing. You should be having the microphone about 2-4 inches away from yourself when you talk, but if the distance is longer, that is okay as well. You can check out our full video review down below, we actually did a sound test with this microphone so you can see exactly how it sounds.

Conclusion

That is it for this review! Overall, as we stated before, we think this is a great product and Fifine do a really good job! They have sent us great products in the past and we are excited for what they have planned for in the future.
