Hello and welcome to a blog where we review the Time Kettle M2 Earbuds! These earbuds have a translation feature in the app that is used with the earbuds so we will talk about this as well.
The first thing that I would like to mention about the Time Kettle M2 Earbuds is how well the case is made. It is magnetic and made out of two parts. The design is very unique and I really like that about these earbuds. Each earbud goes into its part of the case
and the case connects magnetically. You can see this in action in our new video review about these earbuds here:
The case and design.
The charging port for the earbuds is located on the left side. It is a USB-C charging port and the earbuds should last you around 5-6 hours off of a single charge. However, they can last up to 30 hours if the charging case is
charged. There is also a light which indicates if the earbuds are charging, which is pretty standard for wireless headphones.
The actual earbud design is also pretty standard (as shown in the photo below), they are long and sit comfortably in your ears. It almost goes in from the side if you think about it, some people find that uncomfortable, for
example, people who prefer rubber tips. However, for me, it does not make much of a difference.
There is also no blutooth delay. This is a big plus because most of the time, wireless earbuds have some sort of slight delay when you use them. The sound quality of these headphones is also top-notch. You can hear all the frequencies perfectly.
The translation app.
Now lets talk about the translation app. The translation app is something that you should get if you are going too purchase these Time Kettle earbuds. It is on demand translation. Me and my brother actually managed to try it
out in Russian and English, and as much as I like the idea of such an app, I think there is still a lot of work to be done to improve it. At the moment the app is a bit glitchy, sometimes your translation messes up, and other times
it just does not go through. I really hope that they start pushing out updates to improve this. The translations are available for 93+ languages, as well as offline translation. The time Kettle app itself is pretty neat. The instructions are nice and clear so you are able to pair your earbuds very easily.
The different modes.
For translations, there are currently 4 modes: the touch mode, lesson mode and speaker mode. The touch mode works when you have two people who each have an earbud and select their languages. Then you tap on your side of the screen and talk. This directly translates into the other persons earbud with their respected language. The lesson mode is used for translation during lessons. You put both earbuds into your ear and it translates what
the teacher or speaker is saying. It is not perfectly in sink, I would say there is a 5-6 second delay, so it is definitely not simultaneous. The speaker mode is simple as well. Only one person gets the earbuds and the other person gets the phone. As mentioned before I think the idea for such translation modes is very good, however there are still currently glitches.
To end it off…
These time kettle earbuds will be available very soon at the price of around 120$. We will make sure to link them here once they come out. You can also check out their website to learn more about these Time Kettle M2 buds.
